Alana grew up in Chester not far from Tattenhall and attended local schools, so the area the practice is situated is close to her heart.

Having studied Biomedicine at the University of Manchester, Dr Davies qualified in 2008 as a Bachelor of Science. This gave her an excellent grounding in pharmacology and anatomy. She then went on to qualify from the University of Liverpool as a Dental Surgeon in 2012.

Alana enjoys all aspects of general dentistry such as providing white fillings and dentures, as well as  more extensive cosmetic dentistry such as veneers or composite bonding ; creating smiles that can transform a patients appearance and confidence.

Patients regularly comment on Alana’s friendly, relaxed approach and great chairside manner. She likes to get to know her patients ; their individual personalities and needs.

Alana has two young children named Edward and Hugh, as well as three male cats named Henry, Harry and Charlie. Her boys keep her busy outside of work.

Alana enjoys nature and being out in the garden with her boys. Slowly but surely progressing her gardening skills upwards from weeding.

Your promise to us

Cancellation. Failure to attend. Late attendance. Our policy.

At Tattenhall Dental, in order for us to maintain high standards of care for patients, we endorse a strict appointment management and cancellation policy for both ‘plan’ and ‘pay as you go’ patients.

If we have to cancel and rearrange your appointment we apologise, this is likely due to unplanned or unforeseen circumstances, and we will endeavour to do this with as much notice as possible.

If you are unable to attend an appointment, with a minimum of 24 hours’ notice, no charge will be applied. This is because a minimum of 24 hours’ notice allows us to ensure that patients needing urgent care can be accommodated.

We do not accept cancellations via email, or text because these can get missed, please only contact us by telephone. Failure to provide us with 24 hours notice, failure to attend a given appointment, or being late for your appointment will result in a fee. The fee is the total amount of treatment missed.

If you are on a monthly plan

If you make an appointment the same policy applies where valued clinical time is lost. If you are a plan patient and have either attended too late for the practitioner to complete your care, have failed to attend, or cancelled within 24 hours, whether this be with the Hygienist or the Dentist, we regret that you will have missed your allocated clinical time included on your plan. To rebook, please be aware that the full private fees will apply upon re-scheduling your appointment, whether this be for hygiene, treatment or an examination.

Any missed monthly payments must be settled in full before we are able to provide you with any further care at our practice. A failure to keep up with monthly payments, may result in having your plan cancelled.

Thank you for your understanding.
